School’s out for the summer! Keep your kids entertained, happy, learning and playful with these 10 fun family activities hosted across Calgary. Each one is guaranteed to spark joy in kids of all ages—whether you’re parenting toddlers or teens!

1. Dinosaurs Awakened: A Prehistoric Park. Now Open at the Calgary Zoo. Discover animated dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period. Tickets are $29.95 for adults and $19.95 for children.

2. Okotoks Parade and Children’s Festival. June 18. Watch as bands, floats, dancers, horses and fire trucks make their way through downtown Okotoks.

3. Wings & Wheels at the Hangar Museum. June 18-19. Featuring aircraft tours, vehicle shows, crafts and helicopter rides. Tickets are $80 for adults and $70 for children. Dads get in FREE on Father’s Day.

4. Creative Kids Museum. A hands-on, sensory-rich gallery designed for kids up to eight years old. Hosted at the Telus Spark Science Centre.

5. Calaway Park Spray N’ Play. Now open! Featuring 15 water sprayers, this park is the perfect place to cool off on a hot day. Tickets are $49.95 and kids under two get in for FREE.

6. Calgary Farmyard. Now open for summer. Featuring a petting corral, wagon rides, farmyard games, playgrounds, pig races, gemstone mining, corn maze and so much more. Tickets are $19.95.

7. Downhill Karting. The track runs over 1,800 metres and descends over 100 metres with over 50 twists and turns. Hosted at Winsport Canada Olympic Park. Open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets start at $25.

8. Big Box Family Entertainment Hub. Features 18,000+ sq. ft. of soft play structures, inflatables, bumper cars, virtual reality gaming and an aerial obstacle course. Tickets start at $27.99.

9. Monster Zipline. Soar from the top of Canada Olympic Park’s iconic ski jump tower down a 1,640-foot zipline. Open Saturdays and Sundays in June. Must be 10+.

10. Devonian Gardens. Visit the botanical gardens, featuring over 500 trees, 50 varieties of plants, a living wall, fish ponds and a playground to climb and explor​​e.​​ FREE.
