This fall, we’re offering a series of FREE workshops to help boost your job search process. There are five unique sessions outlined below. You can register for one or all—we are confident that you will take something valuable away from each!

Each session will run for 60 minutes, followed by an optional 15-minute Q&A session (75 mins total). These will take place over the lunch hour to accommodate those working.

Following each session, you will be emailed a digital handout with key take-away items and resources. You will also have access to the hundreds of active roles we’re hiring for right now.

SESSION ONE: LinkedIn: Your Digital Resume
Date:  Tuesday, September 21st
Time:  12pm to 1:15pm (ET)

LinkedIn increases a job seeker’s visibility with hiring managers and recruiters. This session will provide participants with tools and information on how to create an effective LinkedIn profile and grow your virtual network.

SESSION TWO: Job Search Tips, Tricks and Trends
Date:  Thursday, September 23rd
Time:  12pm to 1:15pm (ET)

The ways in which employers share job postings and recruit top talent are constantly evolving. In this session, you will learn tips on searching and applying for jobs, including:  the best sites and online resources to look for work and how to partner with a staffing firm. We will also discuss the ideal job search mentality and how to identify what you’re really looking for in your next chapter.

SESSION THREE: Resume & Cover Letter Best Practices
Date:  Friday, September 24th
Time:  12pm to 1:15pm (ET)

Resumes and cover letters are the primary way you can make a strong first impression — and when done right, they will successfully land you an interview. This session will cover how to build a resume (including template recommendations), how to optimize your resume for an applicant tracking system (ATS), and tips for writing cover letters. We will also discuss how to select the best possible references and how you can support your references to highlight your key accomplishments.

SESSION FOUR: Interview Prep 101
Date:  Thursday, September 30th
Time:  12pm to 1:15pm (ET)

The interview offers a chance to share additional information regarding your experience and an opportunity to let your personality shine. This session will cover interview tips and etiquette to help you ace all stages of an interview process, including video-based interviews. Our team will also share common interview questions to help you develop strong responses, discuss great questions for you to ask and provide best practices for post-interview follow-up.

SESSION FIVE:  Offer Negotiation & Next Steps
Date:  Friday, October 1st
Time:  12pm to 1:15pm (ET)

Congrats on receiving a job offer—that’s a huge accomplishment! But before your sign the contract, it’s important to understand the total package. In this session we will break down the anatomy of a job offer and provide you with tips on how to negotiate the terms that matter most to you. We will also discuss best practices for resigning from your current role and how to address potential counteroffers.
