Coraline: It’s not fall until you’ve watched a stop-motion Tim Burton film (we don’t make the rules). Coraline is a dark fantasy that will leave you with goosebumps.

Fantastic Mr. Fox: This film is director Wes Anderson’s first foray into animation. Based on the novel by Roald Dahl, it tells the story of Mr. Fox’s attempt to renounce his chicken-stealing ways. 

Remember the Titans: Fall means football season, and that means watching this inspirational film based on a true story.


Good Will Hunting: This is the perfect film to get you into that back-to-school feeling as Will Hunting finds direction in his life with help from a psychologist.

Black-ish: This 8-season, binge-worthy sitcom is perfect to get you through the cooler autumn months. With a focus on family, cultural identity and geopolitical issues.


Gilmore Girls: This list wouldn’t be complete without featuring THE official show of fall: Gilmore Girls.

Friday Night Lights: This show has all the ingredients of a classic fall show – football, community and inspiration.
